Boats on the beach at Anastasia State Park

Anastasia is a beachside Florida State Park that offers day use beach, picnicking, hiking and fishing as well as overnight camping. Anastasia State Park features three miles of pristine beach bordered by protective dunes, and is home to a variety of wildlife, including the endangered Anastasia Beach Mouse.

Under contract with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Cape Leisure operates Anastasia State Park’s main concession building, located beachside adjacent to the park’s main parking lot, as well as a secondary facility at Salt Run.

The Island Beach Shop, located in the main concession building, provides guests with camping supplies, groceries, firewood and ice. Cape Leisure also offers a wide variety of souvenir and apparel, beach toys, towels, sundries, snacks, ice cream novelties, fishing tackle and frozen bait. At the Shop, guests may also rent bicycles for a cruise on the beach, as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, surf boards and boogie boards.

At the Island Beach Grill, also located within the main concession building, guests enjoy fare such as the Park’s famous “Island Fish Taco,” burgers, dogs and fries, hot and cold sandwiches soft drinks and hand dipped ice cream.

The Salt Run is a large salt water lagoon located within the park. Here Cape Leisure’s Anastasia Watersports offers watercraft rentals and lessons. Available watercraft include canoes, kayaks, Hobie Cats and stand-up paddle boards.

In 2017, Cape Leisure created the inagural Anastasia Watersports Summer Camp with four days of activities such as an introduction to watercrafts, beach ecology, nature hikes, danger talks, crafts and more.
